CS TUNING RACE WAIVER & EMISSIONS STATEMENT
From its earliest days, CS Tuning has been deeply connected to motorsport engineering. Our goal has always been to develop performance solutions that push the limits of what is possible within the boundaries of competition regulations — delivering measurable gains, reliable results, and high-standards engineering for enthusiasts and professional teams.
We follow this same philosophy when working with street-driven vehicles. CS Tuning prioritizes reliability, drivability, and compliance, while continuously striving to meet regulatory expectations whenever possible. However, certain calibrations and products are intended strictly for race-only and off-highway applications, and their sale must follow U.S. federal and state emissions regulations.
To comply with these regulations, any CS Tuning product or calibration that is not emissions-compliant or CARB-exempt must be restricted to race-only use within the United States. These products are only available for purchase after completing a CS Tuning Race Waiver, confirming that the vehicle will not be used on public roads.
International customers are not affected by this requirement.
To help customers better understand these classifications, CS Tuning now provides clear emissions-related categories for all relevant products. These categories determine their intended use and whether a Race Waiver is required during the purchase process.
U.S. retail customers must complete the CS Tuning Race Waiver to purchase any race-only designated product, or any product not exempt under CARB regulations. The waiver is completed electronically and will automatically apply to future purchases for the same vehicle once signed.
NON-EMISSIONS RELATED
This product either does not interact with emissions-controlled components or is reasonably believed not to affect emissions or emissions-control devices subject to U.S. federal or state standards. International customers must follow their local laws and regulations.
CARB EO EXEMPTION
This product is legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in the state of California — and any other state following equivalent or lower emissions standards — because it carries a valid CARB Executive Order (EO) number. International customers must follow their local regulations.
CARB AND/OR EPA COMPLIANCE TESTING NOT COMPLETED
This product may qualify for CARB exemption or may comply with EPA Anti-Tampering guidelines, but official testing and administrative steps have not yet been completed. Therefore, it cannot be sold for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California without a CS Tuning Race Waiver. International customers must follow their respective local laws.
EPA ANTI-TAMPERING POLICY COMPLIANT
This emissions-related product has either been tested by an EPA-recognized laboratory or has a reasonable basis to be considered compliant with EPA Anti-Tampering guidelines. Still, this product cannot be purchased for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California without a completed CS Tuning Race Waiver. International customers must follow local regulations.
RACE / COMPETITION / INTERNATIONAL USE ONLY
This product is intended strictly for race-only vehicles — defined as vehicles not licensed or registered for use on public roads within the United States. It is not available for purchase or installation on emissions-controlled vehicles in the U.S. without a signed CS Tuning Race Waiver. International customers should comply with their local vehicle modification laws.
